The Town of Tonawanda reminds residents that a "town winter parking ordinance" will go into effect on November 1st.
The order will prohibit parking on all streets in the town between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m, lasting from November 1st, 2017 to April 1st, 2018.
Local officials will issue parking tickets --$25-- to violators starting November 1st.
Officials say town police will be watchful for cars parked on front lawns or blocking sidewalks, and will take appropriate action.
