Town of Hamburg Police search for missing man in "emotional distress"

TOWN OF HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) - A team of local searchers are looking for 25-year-old missing person Benjamin Grunditsch.

Police say Grunditsch has been missing since May 6th. He is a white male, 6'1", 130 Ibs, with light brown hair, blue eyes, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants and a gray sweatshirt, but maybe wearing a long-sleeved black t-shirt instead.

Grunditsch has not taken his medication and may be experiencing emotional stress, but is not believed to be a danger to the public, police say.

Grunditsch is known to travel long distances on foot. Latest police information may place the missing man in the Town of Boston area. Yesterday, police and local rescue groups searched along Route 20 between Pleasant Avenue and Camp Road.

If you have any information on Grunditsch's whereabouts, contact Town of Hamburg Public Safety Office at (716) 648-5111.
