Town of Cheektowaga supervisor to hold forum on flooding problems in area

Neighbors in Cheektowaga will gather together Monday, August 27th to discuss flooding problems in the area. 

Town of Cheektowaga Supervisor Diane Benczkowski sent a letter out to residents Wednesday about the meeting. Neighbors who attend the community forum will address flooding concerns and how the town can do a better job of preventing future flooding problems.

According to Cheektowaga Highway Supervisor Mark Wegner, about 80 homeswere damaged this past weekend because of flooding. Bulldozers were sent out Monday afternoon to pick up trash and debris. 

The meeting will be held at the South Line Fire Hall on French Road. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. You are asked to RSVP by phone at 716 686-3465 or email SupervisorsOffice@tocny.org.
