Town Hall meetings pile with protestors

Across the country protestors are piling into town halls, calling on representatives to step up and do their jobs.

Some communities are calling for more town hall meetings, opportunities for voices to be heard by congressional leaders on topics like, environmental issues and health care.

After demonstrators confronted Oversight Committee Chair Jason Chaffetz last week at a meeting in Utah, even more protestors are fighting to make their voices heard, including ones right here in Western New York.

Viewers tell us they are calling on local representatives, like Representative Chris Collins, to do their part by creating more open and inclusive avenues of communication.

Rep.Collins says, he's never held a town hall meeting and doesn't plan to because he believes there are better ways to communicate. Meanwhile, Representatives Tom Reed and Brian Higgans have created unique events and programs more in favor of the town hall dynamic.
