A mainstay on Buffalo’s waterfront for 75 years opened its doors for a visitor event Thursday.
The General Mills plant teamed up with Visit Buffalo Niagara to celebrate the iconic wafts of freshly-made cheerios that routinely fill the air in downtown Buffalo.
Free miniature boxes of cheerios were handed out, and “My City Smells Like Cheerios” t-shirts were for sale.
At the event, General Mills announced it is looking to expand its Cheerios manufacturing plant to include Chex.
