In anticipation of the new Explore & More Children’s Museum being built at Canalside, the group decided to bring one of  their larger annual events to the city.

Touch-A-Truck for a Citywide Day of Play takes place in the Scott Street parking lot between Michigan and Washington on Sunday from 11am-4pm.

This annual event allows kids to climb in, on and around all different kinds of emergency vehicles, construction trucks and specialty vehicles.

The event will also feature various food trucks, as well as a variety of other family activities including a Pinewood Derby.

As a Citywide Day of Play, the event is being made accessible to children and families in need. Thousands of free tickets and free Metro day passes were offered through Say Yes Buffalo, Buffalo Public Schools, and other service organizations.

This event is in line with one of Explore & More's main goals, which is to keep kids in Buffalo active and healthy.
