A man in the City of Tonawanda grabbed an eight inch carving knife when he became upset with an officer during a domestic dispute with a woman Friday evening.
Christopher Mobilia, 48, grabbed the knife off of the kitchen counter and "squared up and took an aggressive stance" against an officer, according to police.
Officials say the officer drew his weapon and asked Mobilia to drop the knife three times before he finally complied and was arrested.
Police say Mobilia was charged with menacing a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use.
