Cuddled together on the couch, Robert and Marguerite Schultz are doing what they do best together these days: watching some television.

She's 95, he’s 96, and both are still in love after 75 years of marriage. “I still love him very much I loved him ever since I met him,” Marguerite said.

The year was 1941. Sammy Kaye and his Orchestra had the number one song, and the Schultz’s were getting married. Months later, Robert would be drafted into the army. “I had a 3-month-old baby then. And that was really hard," he recalled.

Harder still, the death of their oldest daughter, Linda. But four children, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren later, Marguerite and Robert said they have plenty to smile about.

“When your children are good, that makes a very happy marriage and with a good husband,” Marguerite said. “We were always willing to compromise on most things,” Robert added.

Which is part of their secret to a happy marriage. Although, Robert does have a few tricks up his sleeve. “You have to have two words: 'Yes, dear,'” he joked.

Yes, with a few laughs and lots of love, these two are happy to be together all these years later.

Cheers, Robert and Marguerite to 75 years of marriage!
