A toddler was rushed to Women and Children's Hospital on Tuesday evening after falling through a screen window at a second floor apartment in Niagara Falls.

First responders from AMR were called to an apartment at Monteagle Ridge Estates on Hyde Park Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They transported a two-year-old child from the scene. AMR was unable to provide any information on the extent of the child's injuries or the child's current condition.

Niagara Falls police tell 7 Eyewitness News the child had awoken from a nap and was talking to children outside, when the child pushed out the screen. No one has been charged in connection to the incident, and police are still investigating.
