Tifft Nature Preserve offers summer discovery camp

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - While school is out for the summer, there's a way to keep your kids engaged, learning and off their phones and tablets!

The Tifft Nature Preserve is offering summer discovery camps from June 25th through August 31st. Camp is open for kids 3 to 12 years of age. Different sessions are available for different age groups.

Camp encourages kids to learn through nature, promoting values of stewardship and education. Kids can learn about natural disasters, the history of the Seneca Indians, how to create art through nature and even how to create a better environment for wildlife!

Prices range from $90 to $225. Buffalo Museum of Science members receive 10% off camp. Registration must be completed at least two weeks before the start of a session. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Late pickups can be arranged for an additional fee.

Tifft offers fun for more than just kids, 'Tifft at Twilight' offers an adult scavenger hunt and cocktails!
