It will soon be lights out for three shops at the HarborCenter in Downtown Buffalo.

Fowler's Chocolates, Clayton's Toys and Gifts and Red Siren will close their doors by the end of next month, just about two years after they opened.

The locally owned stores are located on the first floor of the sports, retail and entertainment complex facing Canalside.

Pegula Sports and Entertainment is hopeful the storefronts won't sit vacant for long.

"We are having ongoing discussions with several potential tenants and hope to soon unveil new retail offerings that will join the Healthy Scratch in continuing to enhance the Canalside district at the Shops at HarborCenter," said Don Heins, spokesman for Pegula Sports and Entertainment.

Healthy Scratch is the newest addition to the HarborCenter lineup. The organic cafe is owed by Jessie and Kelly Pegula.
