A horse pulling an Amish buggy was spooked Thursday, causing the buggy to roll.

Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says the buggy was traveling on Clymer Sherman Road in Sherman when the horse ran out of control off of the roadway where the buggy and horse became separated.

Three Amish people inside suffered injuries and were treated by Sherman Fire Department and transported to Hamot Hospital, according to officials.

Deputies are still investigating and remind drivers to use caution and slow down when approaching horses and buggies on the road.
