Seven people were taken to local hospitals after a two-alarm fire on Buffalo's west side early Monday morning.
At least three of the victims were children. They suffered a variety of injuries and their current conditions are unknown.
Nearly 60 firefighters responded to the fire around 6:55 a.m. on Friday. Three homes were damaged, and firefighters say two of the homes are total losses. Damage is estimated at $500,000.
No first responders were hurt.
Red Cross volunteers are helping two adults and five children displaced by the fire.
Firefighters are looking into what caused the fire.
