Need help making a down payment or closing on your dream home?

The Lt. Col. Matt Urban Human Services Center has homeownership opportunities for low and moderate income first-time home buyers. 

The Center offers a Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program that provides up to $5,000 to lower costs for eligible applicants and homes in the City of Buffalo.

For those looking for a dream home, the Center even has two properties located in Buffalo and two in the Town of Cheektowaga on the market. The homes are available to low income, first-time buyers. 

Residences must be single-families.

Here are the locations and purchase prices for properties:

  • 928 Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo, N.Y. - $80,000
  • 933 Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo, N.Y. - $80,000
  • 18 Randolph Avenue, Cheektowaga, N.Y. - $105,000 (including $25,000 subsidy)
  • 20 Randolph Avenue, Cheektowaga, N.Y. - $105,000 (including $25,000 subsidy)
