Rochester Police have a 20-year-old Buffalo resident in custody after allegedly stealing the car of Buffalo Bishop Richard Malone.
Buffalo Police say the Toyota Avalon was stolen late Tuesday or early Wednesday from the Bishop's home on Oakland Place. Investigators believe the suspect entered through an unlocked door or window and made off with the Bishop's vehicle and several items from the garage.
According to Rochester Police, the car was pulled over in the city around 12:40 am on Thursday.
Investigators say Joshua P. Hobes was charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, as well as traffic citations.
