Amherst Police responding to a robbery call at the Bank of America on Millersport Highway Thursday say officers were able to catch the suspect right outside of the bank.
Police arrested Jehad Ramadan 22, of Buffalo as he was allegedly fleeing the bank with an unspecified amount of money.
Officers say Ramadan handed a teller a note stating that he had a gun and wanted $50,000.
Ramadan was later arraigned and had bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
