The theft case against a former captain of the Buffalo Police Reserves has been dismissed.
A Buffalo City Court judge cleared Michael Monnin of all charges Thursday.
He had been charged with two counts of stolen property for not returning 150 badges valued at $40 each after he was booted from the reserves in October.
Monnin said he was ousted from the organization after he started questioning the way it was spending and receiving money.
