On Saturday, September 30th Theatre of Youth kicks off their 46th annual season of child-focused plays, starting with the fun, yet spooky production Bunnicula.

The WNY production of Bunnicula brings to life the well-loved books by Deborah and James Howe, ones that have been entertaining kids since 1979.

An adventurous tale, Bunnicula tells the story of the Monroe family and their unique new pet, an orphaned bunny with interesting habits and stand-out features, who sooner than later, comes to life and things start to change.

This show, like all others at TOY,  brings to light important issues and lessons for children of various ages to learn from - be it about self identity, acceptance or self love.

At the end of all performances during the season, families are welcome to partake in an interactive talk-back with the cast and crew to further explore themes shared during the show.
