It’s a labor of leather love for Mason Premo.
“We’re an American leather company and everything is handmade, from the dying to the cutting of leather,” said Mason Premo, owner of the Premo workshop.
The workshop in Jamestown specializes in handmade leather products for both men and women.
They create everything from soft leather wallets to clutches and iPad cases and belts.
“I have probably hundreds of different designs at this point,” said Premo.
Every cut, mold and stitch is done by hand. It’s something Premo says sets his business apart from many.
Premo says every item also comes with a lifetime guarantee.
“When you actually put all of your time and all of your effort into something, you see a return on it,” said Premo.
All of the workshop’s sales are online and items are shipped all over the world.
Premo says he wants to hire more people and eventually expand the business.
“One of my biggest goals is to hire people. This is my town now and I have to give back to my community,” said Premo.
