If you're looking for Jessica Palmer, you can usually find the mother of two in her kitchen with the oven hot, and dough ready to make.
"My day is 7am-7pm with the kids and after that I bake and I don't sleep but that's okay. I'm doing what I love," she said. "It's my therapy."
Palmer has made a business out of doing what she loves, What started as a batch of cookies for a friend has turned into a full-time job, allowing her to take her talents to a whole new level.
"I'm doing weddings, anniversaries, events downtown," she said. "I have people reaching out from everywhere."
She specializes in macaroons and sugar cookies, and has frosted designs from company logos, first birthday favorites and everything in between.
"I pride myself on my cookies being thick. They aren't not chewy...but I don't like a thin sugar cookie," the mother of two said while rolling out some fresh dough.
It's a kitchen with a lot of flavor.
