"Most importantly is that you need to feel comfortable and happy in what you have, " said Kilby Bronstein, Co-Owner of Half and Half Boutique.

The longstanding Elmwood boutique has been a fashion staple in the community for more than forty years. But to Bronstein, it's not just about the latest trends. It's an opportunity to give back and empower young women to reach their highest potential.

"Part of Half and Half is working with the community," she said.

That's why the local boutique is teaming up with Western New York Women's Foundation. More than forty models are getting ready for the foundation's 14th Annual Fall in Fashion Luncheon on November 3rd.

"So many women have come together to make this happen and you know, strong women make a strong community," said foundation board member Dana Marciniak.

The theme of this year's fashion show "What's your f-word?"

But it's words like feminine, fierce and fun that represent the women and girls in our community.
