The flu has officially been named an epidemic this season, and soon, it could start costing businesses money.
A new estimate from an executive coaching firm, Challenger, Gray & Christmas, the flu may cost U.S. employers $9.42 billion, according to a January estimate.
That's based on workers taking four sick days to recover.
