Masterson's Garden Center in East Aurora is one of a few places where bee lovers can learn how to become a beekeeper.
Small groups swarm to work with Erin Holko and Mike and Daniel Masterson and the one million honey bees on their property. The aspiring beekeepers often have their own honey hives at home and come to learn how better to take care of their buzzing bees.
The keepers get their own hive at the Garden Center that they tend to either for the first half of bee season, April through July, or the second half of the season, August through October.
