Electric car manufacturer Tesla now says business is booming at its South Buffalo plant.

The facility is now home to about 500 employees, and is already pumping out solar roof tiles.

It's been making solar panels since last summer.

Tesla says it hopes to manufacture enough solar tiles and panels to produce more than one gigawatt, or one billion watts, of electricity every year.
