A teenager has been sentenced for stomping on a 64-year-old homeless man.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn says the teen was 14-years-old at the time of the incident on September 22, 2016 and was with two other teens.

The three stomped an elderly man, causing sever physical injuries that included head trauma and skull fractures, according to the DA.

The latest defendant was granted Youthful Offender status and sentenced to one and one-third years to four years in prison.

The two other teens in the case previously pleaded guilty to attempted murder and were both sentenced to seven years in prison.
