A 17-year-old girl was hurt after the teen-aged driver of a horse-drawn buggy lost control.
Shortly after midnight on Monday, deputies say the 18-year-old man operating an Amish buggy on Alder Bottom Road in the Town of Sherman lost control after his horse was spooked. The teen jumped from the buggy and then ran after it.
As the teen ran to catch the horse, he found the 17-year-old female passenger unresponsive in the roadway.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
