Officers with the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) Metro Division arrested a 19-year-old man at the Utica Street Rail Station on Saturday, after he failed to pay for the train.
The NFTA officers searched Corey M. Green, of Lackawanna, and discovered a BB gun resembling a handgun tucked inside his pants. According to the charges, officers also found him to be in possession of marijuana.
Green was taken into custody and charged with theft of service, marijuana possession and false personation. Subjects are charged with false personation when they are accused of misrepresenting their identity to law enforcement. Officers also found Green had outstanding warrants in Hamburg.
Green was taken into custody for arraignment in Buffalo City Court.
