Say 'bye-bye' to savings at the checkout line...for now.
Target will end its Cartwheel Perks rewards program it began testing last year in five markets: Denver, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, San Diego and St. Louis.
Cartwheel Perks allowed customers to rack up points every time they purchased items in-store. Once the customer collected a certain number of points, they could choose from rewards, including discounts on future purchases.
The program was part of the company's Cartwheel app, which provided digital coupons for extra savings.
Customers in the above markets will have until August 27th to earn points and until October 27th to redeem reward offers.
