The New York Lottery says one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the February 13 TAKE-5 drawing right here in Buffalo.

The ticket, worth $64,429.50, was purchased at Cleveland Hill Drugstore located on Kensington Avenue.

Here are some facts about the New York State Lottery:

The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.30 billion in fiscal year 2016-2017 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery's contribution represents 14 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education.

 

 

Take Five Top-Prize Winner Sold in BUFFALO
The New York Lottery today announced one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Feb 13 TAKE-5 drawing. The ticket, worth $64,429.50, was purchased at CLEVELAND HILL DRUG at 1479 KENSINGTON in BUFFALO .
The five winning numbers for the TAKE 5 game are drawn from a field of one to 39. The TAKE 5 drawing is televised every day at 11:21 p.m. A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.30 billion in fiscal year 2016-2017 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery's contribution represents 14 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.
New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district's size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
