Search teams are looking for a swimmer who has gone missing in Chautauqua County.
The incident happened around 8 P.M. in Sunset Bay in Hanover, N.Y.
Four kayakers went into the water, and only three came out, according to Chautauqua County Sheriff Joseph Gerace.
The search is now a recovery mission, according to the fire chief of the Sunset Bay Volunteer Fire Company.
According to rescue crews, the search was called off late Tuesday night, but is set to resume Wednesday morning.
As of late Tuesday evening, the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear.
