A suspended Buffalo Police Officer faced arraignment in State Supreme Court Tuesday.
Joseph Hassett pleaded not guilty to two counts of Assault, Official Misconduct, Offering a False Instrument for Filing and Making a Punishable False Written Statement.
Prosecutors say the 32-year-old caused physical injury to an individual in his custody at the Police Department on March 18, 2017.
Hassett was released on his own recognizance.
