A suspected heroin dealer is facing a potential 20 years in prison over a drug deal, that turned deadly.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 21 year-old Damien Hicks-Bailey is charged with possession with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin.

Investigators claim Hicks-Bailey sold heroin to a man at a 7-Eleven in West Seneca last July. Later that day, investigators say the buyer was found dead in his West Seneca apartment.

Officials say a plastic baggy with a white powdery substance was discovered in the man's bedroom. The substance later tested positive for heroin.

Investigators say store security video captured the deal between Hicks-Bailey and the adult male.

The Buffalo man is being held pending a detention hearing on March 18th.
