An Erie County Sheriff's Deputy had a lucky escape after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
The incident happened after last Sunday's Bills game in Orchard Park.
Investigators say the Deputy was directing traffic at Southwestern Boulevard and Abbott Road when a truck made an improper turn at the intersection, side-swiping the Deputy. The Deputy wasn't hurt.
23-year-old Hayden Newcomb is now charged with DWI and three State Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
