A Crime Stoppers tip has landed the suspect in the Zoe Restaurant shooting in September in jail.

State Police say former Zoe employee Christopher Boyd, 36, was arrested November 15 after a tipster saw him entering a corner store in Buffalo. Crime Stoppers members say as they approached Boyd in the store he began to reach into his waistband for an unknown weapon. They say they tackled Boyd before he was able to pull out a .45 caliber handgun.

On September 4, Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to a shooting at Zoe Restaurant on Transit Road in Clarence. Investigators say the owner, Alexander Pozantidis, 44, was closing and leaving with the proceeds from the day when he was robbed and shot twice in the arm, suffering non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say Boyd was arrested for attempted murder, robbery, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
