List of summer events across the area

It may feel like winter, but it doesn't hurt to spring ahead and talk about all the summer festivals and events we will be enjoying in just a matter of weeks!

Who can't help but think about strolling on down to Canalside on a Thursday to watch a concert on a nice warm summer day!? And trust us, warmer weather is on the way.



Food Truck Tuesdays- (April 19th- October 4th)

Starts in just a couple of weeks (April 19th) and goes until October 4th. Do we need to explain more? I don't think so!

Larkin Square

Cherry Blossom Festival (April 30th-May 7th)

One of the most beautiful festivals on this list, located in the back of the Buffalo Historical Society Museum.



Slow Roll Buffalo (May 16th - July 25th)

If you like to ride a bicycle, you'd love these events. Take a stroll with a bunch of bicyclists through the city. Bike Ride usually takes place on Mondays. The first one is on a Sunday May 8th at 1pm outside the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park.


G.O.A.L.S Premiere Cup (21st)

Futsal tournament down at Buffalo RiverWorks. To register, visit


Canalside Concert Series

We're unfortunately going to have to wait to see who plays downtown. Lineup will be announced sometime in May. Regardless, always a good time.



Live At Larkin (June 1st - August 31st)

Another great event at Larkin Square. Live music along with food trucks. Happens every Wednesday. Goes from the first of June till the end of August.

Buffalo Greek Fest (3rd-5th)

Experience Greek culture from food to music.

Tuesdays In The Park (June 7th - August 23rd)

Concerts At Artpark list TBA.


Taste Of Country (10th)

Featured artists include Billy Currington and Eli Young Band.


Allentown Art Festival (11th & 12th)

Thousands of artists located in one of the most unique parts of town.

Thursday On The Pier (June 16th - September 8th)

Live music at the Pier in Dunkirk. 

Buffalo Riverfest (17th-19th)

Located where the Labatt Blue big cans are. You can't miss it!

Buffalo Brewers Festival (18th)

A walk away from the Buffalo Riverfest, local brewers from across the area will be serving ice cold beer down at Canalside. Let's hope the weather is a little warmer.

Juneteenth Festival (18th-19th)

Held in Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Lots of entertainment at the two day festival.

Dragon Boat Festival (19th)

Dragon boat racing. Another festival located at Buffalo RiverWorks.

NHL Draft (24th-25th)

"With the ____ pick in the draft, the Buffalo Sabres select _________."

First Niagara Center



Independence Eve (3rd)

What's more American than celebrating our Independence than watching baseball and enjoying the sounds of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.....and fireworks!

Buffalo's Official 4th of July Celebration

Big and beautiful fireworks display at the Buffalo Inner Harbor, weather permitting.

Taste Of Buffalo (9th and 10th)

One of the most recognized events on the list. Over 50 food venues to enjoy!

Italian Heritage Festival (14th-17th)

One of the largest street festivals in the country! Experience Italian culture from music to food.

Canal Fest of the Tonawandas. (17th-24th)

The biggest festival right along the Erie Canal!

Star Wars Night At Coca-Cola Field (23rd)

Niagara Wine Festival (30th-31st)

Academy Park

Garden Walk Buffalo (30th-31st)

Over 400 gardens to look at within a walking distance. Making it the largest garden tour in America.

Where else can you eat wings on the field of a baseball stadium?

Located behind Albright Knox Art Gallery in Delaware Park.
