Applications for Home Energy Assistance Program or "HEAP" benefits will be accepted by Erie County starting Monday.
The program helps residents pay their heating bills.
Low-income families can receive up to $625 this winter to offset the cost of heating their homes.
Last year, more than 1.5 million homes statewide benefited from the program.
