Local schools from across Western New York are making sure our nation's military knows how appreciated they are.
Students at St. Mary's Elementary School took time on Tuesday to make Valentine's Day cards for veterans and active servicemen and women. It's part of a program called "Valentines for Veterans"
The cards will be delivered to local veterans' posts, Buffalo Niagara International Airport's new Freedom Lounge, and the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
