The Erie County Sheriff's Office announced regular game day traffic patterns will be in effect for the World Junior Championship outdoor hockey game this Friday, December 29th.
The game will be at New Era Field in Orchard Park.
Here's what you need to know:
- At 11:00 a.m., Abbott Road will be closed to all traffic between the south entrance of Lot 2 and the north entrance of Lot 6 -- before and after the game.
- New Era Field parking lots open at noon and close 90-minutes after the game.
- After the game, Big Tree Road (Route 20A) will close to westbound traffic and all cars must travel eastbound from Fieldhouse Drive to Route 219.
- Stadium gates open at 1:30 P.M.
- No smoking, e-cigarettes, or tobacco use will be allowed inside stadium gates.
The Sheriff's Office asks everyone to look over the parking diagram to map out the best route to arrive and leave the game.
