Update: Buffalo Police say after further investigation, the claims appear to be unfounded. However, police continue to encourage children and adults to stay vigilant in all similar cases.

Original Story: A stranger danger alert have Buffalo Police on alert as they investigate complaints involving a man watching students on a playground.

Buffalo Police say a girl was followed from the fire station at the corner of Southside Parkway to the School #93 playground by a man in his car.

Another student described the same man in a report of a man following her and pulling into the playground parking lot. The man reportedly sat and watched the students on the playground. Children entered the school without incident.

Buffalo Police ask parents to have a conversation with their children about avoiding strangers. Let them know to keep an eye out for this truck and to avoid similar instances. Encourage them to report any incidents that may happen to them.
