Severe thunderstorms left a wave of damage across Western New York. Several people reported trees down and other reported losing power as severe storms hit Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Genesee counties starting after noon on Friday.
Most of the damage reports related to downed trees and power lines, and others were related to hail associated with the storm.

Waterspouts were spotted across Lake Erie as the storm moved in.
