The future of an Amtrak station in Downtown Buffalo remains unclear after the facility was shutdown because of significant damages.
The Exchange Street station is now closed after heavy storms caused the ceiling of the building to collapse. Passengers can still catch a train at the location but the public can't go inside the building because of safety concerns surrounding the damage.
City officials aren't going into detail about future plans for the station but are expected to meet with representatives from Amtrak later this week.
