Put down the phones, the tablets and the game controllers and experience life in the 19th century!

The Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village offers a Pioneer Day Camp, the late session running from July 30th through August 3rd.

During the week-long summer camp, kids will have a truly immersive historical experience, connecting them with the foundations our life today were built on. Children from six years old through 11 years old can play historic games, craft, tend to crops on the farmstead, learn how to care for livestock, cook historic foods and spin and weave wool. They'll cap off their experience with a campfire cookout!

Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday Through Friday. Drop off is 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and pick up is 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Children must bring a bagged lunch.

The camp costs $100 for members and $125 for non members. You can call (716) 689-1440 to register and find more information here.
