A New York State Trooper who was seriously injured in a crash in Steuben County last week is improving.
Craig Foglia has been upgraded to satisfactory condition at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, according to affiliate WHAM.
Foglia had his breathing tube removed earlier this week, according to State Police.
Trooper Foglia was seriously injured, while he was sitting inside his patrol car, after a pickup truck driving down I-86 West slammed into the back of his car earlier this month.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the pickup truck.
