State police have located the four-door black Dodge pick-up truck involved in the hit and run that critically injured 53-year-old Dana Papaj while she was out walking her dog on East River Road, between Whitehaven Road and Riverwoods Drive, on Grand Island last Tuesday night.
While the vehicle has been located, no one has been arrested or charged in connection to the collision that landed Papaj in the hosptial.
Police say, the passenger side mirror of the truck was damaged after the driver hit Papaj and her dog on the west shoulder of East River Road before fleeing the scene.
Neighbors say Papaj is still in a coma at ECMC, fighting for her life.
Police have not released any other information connected to this on going investigation.
