A car driving in the Town of Burns went through railroad crossing barriers and was hit by a train.
According to State Police, the car was traveling south on County Route 15b when it went through the barriers and was hit by the Norfolk Southern train.
Police say the train has minimal damage, but the driver is seriously injured.
County Route 15b will be closed from State Highway 70 to County Route 15a for several hours.
State Police are still investigating.
