State Police investigate bodies found in the Southern Tier

New York State Police responded to two reports of bodies found Saturday in the Southern Tier.

Officials say in the Town of Portland an unidentified male body was found off State Highway 20 by an operator traveling down the highway around 3:20 p.m.

In the Town of Randolph, State Police report the body of 48-year-old Wilfredo Rodriguez-Colon, of Busti, was found off Swanson Hill Road by local residents around 5:15 p.m.

Autopsies will be performed on the bodies to determine their cause of deaths.
