The Labor Day Weekend is just about here, and the State of New York wants to make sure you stay safe while you're out enjoying the holiday.

Governor Anthony Cuomo has announced police around the state will be cracking down on DWI through the weekend.

"I encourage both New Yorkers and visitors to enjoy all that our great state has to offer this Labor Day weekend, and to do so safely and responsibly," Governor Cuomo said. "Troopers and local law enforcement will be highly visible this weekend, and if you drink and drive, you will get pulled over."

It's part of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

The crackdown runs through Monday, September 4.
