A local tea party activist is due in court Thursday after being indicted by a grand jury.
Prosecutors say Rus Thompson, who had been living in Niagara Falls, illegally voted in the Grand Island primary and general elections by using a voter affidavit with a false address.
Thompson was charged with voter fraud in May and faces four years in prison if convicted.
The Tea Party activist is currently circulating a Go Fund Me for himself online.
