NEW YORK (WKBW) — New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday the state's coronavirus test was approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
The state will begin testing immediately at Wadsworth Lab.
Cuomo says this will expedite the wait time and improve New York's ability to more effectively manage the coronavirus situation.

There have been no confirmed cases of coronavirus in New York State.
