Senator Robert Ortt has secured $150,000 in state grant funding to assist with an expansion project to keep Northpointe Council’s methadone clinic in it's current location. The clinic is located at the Niagara County Trott Access Center in Niagara Falls.
The funding will help the clinic expand it's services. The clinic will remain on the first floor of the Trott Access Center and will move its operations to a larger space in the same building to better serve the 150 clients on its waiting list.
The move will expand Northpointe Council’s footprint from 3,800 square feet to approximately 9,000 square feet.
Renovation work is expected to be completed this spring.
